Most embarrassing moment! Before Josh and I were even dating he was over at my apartment one night just watching a movie with me. One of my room mates started opening the door and to be funny Josh grabbed me to pretend to kiss me. I really liked him a lot so I decided to really go in for the kiss. When he saw that I was really going in for it he dropped me and pretended like nothing had ever happened. It has now gone down in the books as my most embarrassing moment ever!
Christmas Lights For our first Christmas Josh and I were picking out lights to put on our tree. We both really wanted to make the other one happy. My family's tradition was to always do colored lights on our tree so that is what Josh thought I wanted, but I really wanted white lights. He kept asking me if I wanted to get colored lights so I assumed that was what he wanted, but he really wanted white lights also. We ended up buying colored lights trying to make the other one happy. When we got home and had the tree all set up with the colored lights on it, I looked at it and said a little sheepishly, "I actually wanted the white lights." Josh burst out with a huge grin and said, "That's what I wanted, too!" We ended up taking down everything and getting white lights to put on the tree. Fortunately one of our first real problems with communication was only about Christmas lights!
Isaac's First Laugh When Isaac was only a week old I was holding him and just watching him sleep as I am sure most mothers do. As I watched him he broke into a laugh! His laugh made me laugh! It was the cutest thing. The name Isaac means laughter which seems very fitting.
